Sit-Stand Consoles: Trend or Fad?
Sit-stand consoles have been around for quite a few years now. As we see the popularity increase we can obviously see that this is a growing trend and not just a fad. A trend is something that solves a problem and gets stronger over time. A fad however is something that is popular for a short period of time and then fades out quickly. Case in point, this blog post. We are updating this post on Sit-Stand Consoles from 2019 as the trend is seemingly getting even stronger since then.
Control Room Sit-Stands are here to stay
So this is not just a trend, sit-stand consoles are here to stay for a variety of reasons. With growing evidence to its benefits, it’s not hard to see why they are becoming increasingly popular in control rooms around the world. To summarize: sit-stand consoles allow operators to adjust the height to their preference for sitting or standing positions while they work.
