Matko Papic Vice-President Engineering & Product Development
Matko has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer. Additionally, his education also includes an MBA and an executive program on Strategic Leadership. Matko is based at Evans’ corporate head office where he manages all design, engineering, ergonomic and research and development functions.
Matko has over 12 years of design experience in the control room industry and has held various roles with Evans including product design, project management, technical sales and research & development. He is also actively involved with the strategic development of Evans’ products and market verticals, product structuring, intellectual property and strategic accounts. Over the years Matko and his team have designed hundreds of unique mission critical facilities as well as specific products for global programs for customers such as NYPD, NASA, FAA, US Military and similar. Through this, he has developed a unique knowledge and expertise for the functional, ergonomic, operational and strategic requirements of mission critical facilities and how to incorporate these elements into specific product design and overall solutions.
Dave Rivers Director Air Traffic Control
Dave Rivers has spent his entire adult life involved in the Air Traffic Control industry. Dave is currently the Director of Air Traffic Control for Evans Consoles. Working from northern Virginia, Dave is responsible for Sales & Business Development for all ATC sales in North America for Evans and is the national company representative to FAA. Additionally, Dave supports the ATC business with his subject matter expertise which includes both Tower and Terminal Approach operations as well as liaison work with En Route Centers. With more than 34 years of experience in the ATC industry, He has operational experience working as an air traffic controller, trainer, supervisor and ATC facility manager in the US Air Force; as well as several years of direct support to FAA in Headquarters as a contractor providing Safety Management Systems panel facilitation and safety documentation development and implementation. Dave’s 25 years of ATC sales experience includes not only North America, but also more than 20 years of international efforts as well. From 1989 through 2008, Dave supported the FAA's Air Traffic Procedures Committee as a volunteer industry representative for the National Business Aviation Association and was the most senior member of that committee at the time of his departure.
