Evans Reaches a Significant Milestone

June 2026

Reaching 1,000 consecutive days without a Lost Time Incident is a significant achievement that reflects Evans' unwavering commitment to workplace safety across our organization.

This accomplishment is the result of the dedication and vigilance demonstrated by our employees, contractors, and leadership teams. Their continued commitment to a strong safety culture founded on teamwork, accountability, and a proactive approach to hazard prevention has made this milestone possible.

Evans Health & Safety Commitment

At Evans, we believe that all occupational health, safety, and environmental incidents are preventable.

As defined by the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB), a Lost Time Incident (LTI) is a workplace injury that results in an employee missing scheduled work beyond the day of the incident.

Achieving this milestone has been made possible through the collective efforts of our team. Reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents, participating in the Injury Free Event (IFE) program by submitting safety improvement ideas, and consistently following established safety procedures have all contributed to creating a safer workplace for everyone.

Thank you to every employee, contractor, and leader for your continued commitment to making safety a core part of everything we do.
