Matko Papic is the Evans Chief Technology Officer. Over the years, Matko has held various roles within Evans, including product design, project management, technical sales, business, and product development. As CTO, Matko oversees the technology platforms at Evans and the ongoing digital transformation of the business. He also provides direction for Evans’ customers in terms of technology applications within the control room.

Lastly, Matko leads the Evans Consulting and Engineering teams and is actively engaged in strategic business and technical sales development globally.

With over 20 years in mission-critical environments, Matko has worked on the planning, conceptual design, and execution of mission-critical facility projects around the world. This includes control rooms and dispatch centers in a wide range of industries such as 911 Centers, Process Control, Air Traffic Management, Power Transmission/Distribution, and others.

Matko is a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Technology Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. As an industry-recognized subject matter expert, Matko is passionate about control rooms and spends a lot of time with operators, management, and technology providers to better understand and continuously evolve the control room environment. He has several publications both in industry and educational publications. He is a certified trainer for the American Institute of Architects course for control room design as well as a guest lecturer for multiple industry seminars
