David A. Rivers is the Director of Air Traffic Control at Evans. Dave is responsible for Air Traffic Control (ATC) sales worldwide and is the company representative to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). 

With 40+ years in Air Traffic Control, Dave supports Evans’ ATC business with his expertise in both Control Tower and Terminal Approach operations as well as liaison work with En Route Centers.

Through a variety of positions within the Government and the ATC industry, a former Air Traffic Controller, trainer, supervisor, and ATC facility manager in the US Air Force, Dave understands the complexities and requirements in the ATC industry. As a leading subject matter expert, he also has several years of being direct support to the FAA in Safety Management Systems (SMS) panel facilitation and procedures documentation.
