Evans Welcomes New Representative from Sweden
Sweden based Gunnar Hammarsten is Evans Consoles latest representative covering the Nordic countries of Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
After more than 40 years in the police, security service and military intelligence Gunnar started his own consultancy 13 years ago, working mainly as a security advisor to the Swedish nuclear industry.
I've seen many control rooms over the years, Gunnar says. Not many of them have impressed me, and I clearly see a market out there. Sometimes I wonder if organizations and companies have forgotten that their control rooms are the hearts of their organizational bodies. I hope to be able to deliver Evans Consoles deep knowledge in control room design to a number of my existing and new clients.
Gunnar's company 'Fallback Systems' is located on the island of Oland in the Baltic sea. The island is a popular summer resort with its long sandy beaches and sunny summer climate. In July, when Oland is crowded by tourist, Gunnar and wife escape to their summer home above the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden.
