In our continued effort to help reduce our impact on the environment we strive to use the most environmentally friendly and sustainable materials whenever possible.

This page details some of the ways in which we try to do our part.

LED Tasklight

There are two main advantages of using LED's when compared to regular lightbulbs, both equally as important. Firstly, LED lights consume an average of 90% less energy than traditional light bulbs. Additionally LED lights have an average lifetime of 100,000 hours, or nearly 12 years!

Laminate Surface

WilsonArt, a laminate manufacturer with GreenGuard certification, provides all our standard laminates. As a result, the laminates used on Evans consoles have very low emission rates, which has a positive impact on the air quality in your control room as well as the environment as a whole.

Fabric Panels

Using recycled materials is one thing, but ensuring that materials can be recycled time after time is another. Our Fabric panels are just one of the items on our consoles, which have been recycled and can be recycled at the end of the product life.

Wood Parts

The wood we use in our consoles has been manufactured from industrial residue. Materials that would have otherwise gone to waste and would have inevitably ended up as landfill, are being put to great use in our consoles.

Adhesives

Air quality is of utmost importance in a stressful work environment. By using water-based PVA adhesives that do not emit VOC's we not only have a positive impact on the environment, but on our manufacturing employees and your operators as well.

Metals and Metal Finishes

We use 100% recycled and recyclable cold-rolled steel in our consoles. And much like our laminates and adhesives, our environmentally friendly powder coat finish does not emit any VOC's.
